Sillaotsa Farm Museum

Veski küla, Märjamaa vald, Rapla county

In a museum established by a home inspector and wildlife protector Aleksei Parnabas in 1982, You can explore the life and manners of Velise township from XIX century to modern days. In an exposition barn (renovated farm barn) You can watch temporary exhibitions. Museum has a 17 ha territory, where You can study almost 200 different kinds of trees and bushes. If You order in advance, You can ride a horse or a carriage. Come and take part in different theme-days – bake bread or study natural calendar holidays. You can also go to Velise educational track from the museum and familiarize yourself with local nature and culture.
