The inspiration for Poku House came from a unique bog landscape covered with sedges, which Estonians call pokus (after the main characters of Edgar Valter’s children’s book “Pokuraamat”).
Nature Villa Poku consists of seven pokus of different sizes. These separate rooms have beautiful domed ceilings and picturesque views over the Maidla wetlands. The roof of Poku House is made of reeds to celebrate Estonian traditions and history.
